Our Story
Together-in-Stories was formed by Damien Harron, a composer and music educator who is passionate about story-telling, art and music.
The first stories that Damien made were just as a fun activity with his young son and extended family. Many years later, he put some music to the stories.
'Now that my Dad has passed away many years later, I realise that our story captured so much about the fun person he was and the joy that we had together as a family. I'd like to offer that opportunity to share creativity and make something that lasts for ever and so have created Together-in-Stories in the hope that others might share the enjoyment of this activity'.

Our Mission
Creativity
We believe that creativity is currently undervalued as a resource that can potentially encourage young people to express themselves and the way they see the world around them. The arts offer us opportunities to explore our feelings and provide optimism through the joy that creative activities and collaboration bring to allow us to grow as people, both individually and together.
Positivity
For a lot of the people that we want to work with, the future might look, scary and uncertain and even bleak. Through the arts, we want to help them to cultivate a more positive view of that future, helping to bring joy in both the process of learning and creating an audio-story and the enjoyment of sharing their creation with family and friends.
Individuality
We believe that all people are unique in their personalities, their memories and their relationships with the world and other people.
We encourage young people especially to see the potential for words, dialogue, images and music to allow them to express themselves and to take pride and feel happiness in doing so.
