Together-In-Stories offers a way for family and friends of all ages to come together forever in a creative,
personalised audio story that is hosted on this site.
We believe in the benefits of creative activities - writing, drama, art and music to help us tell our stories.
Traditional stories can be adapted or even better, participants are helped to write their own.
Story lines are recorded by the participants and uploaded to our website with artwork too.
We then assemble your story with specially composed music to bring it all to life memorably.
We work with groups in which a young person is facing particular circumstances in life:
Hospice care
Adoption or fostering
Special Educational Needs
In Alternative Provision
Experiencing mental health difficulties
Child Refugees
As part of our services we are able to provide professional support in the areas of creative writing and illustration to enable your story to come to life.
Participants are also able to collaborate with an experienced composer on the story soundtrack.
Please see sample stories for a few examples of audio and video stories.

WHY MAKE A TOGETHER-IN-STORIES AUDIO STORY?
We would love our participants to write their own stories or alternatively we have a library of story scripts that have flexible numbers of participants and can be adapted and personalised - for example, add more characters if you wish, add additional lines and adapt the script to make reference to the people that took part, or places that are important to the participants.
Here are some examples of the personalised elements in the sample stories:

Here are some examples of the personalised elements in the sample stories:
- In the Billy Goats Gruff, the action takes place in 'Victoria Bridge', which is an important local village to the family who made the recording. In this story, the 'actor' playing the troll decided to do it in his pretend Dublin accent and added some fun lines (e.g. I am going to eat you like a cheeseburger!')
- In the Gingerbread Man, the sly old fox asks the Gingerbread Man if he would like him to paint the Gingerbread Man's portrait. This is a little reference to the fact that the actor playing the fox is a successful artist.
